hier ein kleiner statusbericht für euch.
trotz abgabestress in der uni versuchen wir die reisevorbereitungen nicht abreißen zu lassen. die fährüberfahrten stehen nun dank der hilfe der netten adac-reisebüroangestelltin fest.
durch die 3 fährabfahrtszeiten konnten wir nun unsere aufenthaltszeiten (siehe karte) in den jeweiligen ländern grob planen.
für den balkan haben wir im schnitt für jedes land 9 tage angedacht. aufgrund von den zahlreichen tipps von schon erfahrenen balkan-urlaubern wird serbien vermutlich rausfallen,
montegro verkürzt und kroatien vielleicht sogar auch. slowenien, bosnien, albanien und mazedonien wird dann mehr zeit eingeräumt. die beiden ersten länder deutschland und österreich werden
wir versuchen nicht zu lange zu besuchen, da man in diese ja öfters kommt. wir verlassen uns derzeit, was balkan angeht, „nur“ auf berichte reisender, werden aber in den ersten tagen der
reise unsere unzähligen reiseführer durchwälzen und gegebenfalls an der ein oder anderen aufenthaltszeit schrauben. wir werden uns dies also für beginn der reise aufheben, da dies im
gemütlichen campingstuhl in ruhiger natur einfacher ist als während vorlesungen oder kurz nach zwischenpräsentationen ;-)
nach albanien wird ein zwei wöchiger aufenthalt in griechenland geplant. festland eine woche und peleponnes eine woche. in italien werden wir uns nur eine woche auf dem festland
zwischen bari und civitaveccia, vorrangig an der ostküste, aufhalten. anschließend setzen wir über nach sardinien, wo wir 2,5 wochen an den schönen stränden verweilen dürfen. aufgrund zu
hoher fährpreise werden wir von nordsardinien nicht wie geplant nach barcelona sondern nach marseille ende juni übersetzen. von da wird es über das unbekannte andorra nach spanien gehen. je
nach zeit werden wir die provinzen valenciana, murcia und andalucia anfang juli bis mitte juli erkunden. wenn es uns schneller nach portugal zieht werden wir innerhalb eine woche spanien über
madrid richtung südportugal durchqueren. für portugals küsten sind 5 wochen angesetzt. ab mitte august werden wir dann zwei wochen in nordspanien sein, um dann für den letzten monat die
atlantikküste frankreichs zu erkunden. ende der reise ist anfang oktober...beginn des bachelor-abschlussmoduls...fährdaten könnt ihr auf der karte einsehen.
was das fahrzeug betrifft: es ist noch nicht fertig. fahrzeuganmeldung in deutschland wird anfang februar sein. anschließend folgt eine intensive einwöchige unterbodenkur von einer
fachfirma.
nach den großen abgaben in der uni, wird der innenausbau ende februar weitergeführt. innenboden, schrankscharniere und befestigungen, andere befestigungssysteme, ersatzteile,
bremsschläuche, wasserschläuche etc.... die liste ist von gefühlten 1000 posten auf 100 geschrumpft. ein ende ist in sicht. wir hoffen, dass die testfahrten ohne größere pannen verlaufen und
die abfahrt sich nicht verzögert.
wir möchten euch nochmals alle ermutigen, gegenstände an uns zu schicken. trennt euch von der digitalen modernen welt, seid kreative und schickt per post etwas besonderes an
uns. es werden sicher klasse bilder enstehen, wenn wir eure gegenstände an außergewöhnlichen orten ablichten.

Following you can find a short status report to keep you updated.
despite all the exam stress we are facing right now we are trying to continue the preparations for our trip. thanks to some nice
adac-employees who helped us book the various ferry-rides, we now know about the departure times of the ferries. This way we were able to plan the
durations of our stays in the different countries.
germany and austria, the first two countries on our route, will be visited only for a short time since they can be travelled easily
from our home-base.
furthermore we have planned an average stay of 9 days in the balkan states. on the basis of some tips we got from several experienced
balkan-travelers we will probably omit serbia. our stays in montenegro and possibly croatia will be shortened. this way we will spend more time in slovenia, bosnia, albania and macedonia. right
now this plan is based only on the reports we got from other travelers. during the early days of our journey we will go trough our numerous travel guides and, if needed, make some adjustments to
the different durations. the final decisions are yet to make. we will attend to them at the beginning of our journey since they are made easily while sitting in a camp chair in nature instead of
sitting in lectures or exams. ;-)
after albania we will be travelling off to greece to stay on the mainland for one week and in peloponnese for another. afterwards we
will spend a week on the eastcoast of italys mainland, somewhere between bari and civitaveccia. from there we will cross over to sardinia for a stay of two and a half weeks to linger on the
beautiful beaches.
at the end of june we will cross over to marseille instead of barcelona since the price for a ferry to barcelona was too expensive.
from there we will travel through the unknown andorra to spain. from the beginning to the mid of july we will spend time in the provinces of valenciana, murcia and andalucia depending on how much
time we have. in case we are drawn to portugal earlier than expected we will pass through spain, via madrid, heading to the south of portugal within a week.
we have planned a stay of five weeks for the coasts of portugal.
from the mid of august we will stay two weeks in the north of spain from where we will start our last month discovering the french
atlantic coast. our journey ends at the beginning of october – the beginning of our final semester.

regarding the vehicle: it’s not done yet. the registration of the bus will be taking place in early february. after that it will be
undertaken some serious underfloor-treatment all done by a specialist firm.
after our final exams for this semester we will continue working on the completion of the interior. flooring, hinges, fastening the
cupboards, replacements, brake and water hoses just to name a few. the list shrank from 1000 to only 100 assignments.
the end is in sight!
we can only hope that the test drive will be passed without major breakdowns and that our departure won’t be delayed.

Dissociate yourself from the digital world and start being creative by sending something special by
postal-mail. there sure will emerge some great pictures when we take photographs of your objects at exceptional places.
